Fortnite could arrive for Xbox One and PlayStation 4
The next title from Epic Games, a cooperative shooter free-to-play called Fortnite, is in development exclusively for PC. However, according to the chief designer of the title, Darren Sugg, this does not mean you never get to consoles.
In an interview with Eurogamer , Sugg said the only reason the game is only for computers that allows the study platform flexibility when updating and patching Fortnite .
“Things have changed in the space of consoles and they have adapted to a new market, which is great.” Sugg said, referring to the Xbox and PlayStation 4 One. “And these adaptations, Fortnite could reach the consoles. I think there are many possibilities of how to interact the game on different platforms. ”
Also, the designer said Epic bet a lot for your project team are largest development studio and have been the focus of it long. So Fortnite has all the talent you need.
“We are working with Epic Games Portland, Seattle Epic have engineers and obviously many people here at headquarters, so we’re definitely the biggest project of Epic yet.” Sugg said. “But we are a living project and study require us to change membership at some point.” He said.
The company recently revealed new details about the shooter. Among other things, the campaign mode, which will last 10 to 50 hours, will create the world of the game to start each game, without having to connect to the server.
