Visceral justifies Battlefield Hardline price
As part of a question and answer session with the community via Twitter on July 10, 2014, Steve Papoutsis, CEO of Visceral Games, justified the $60 it cost in its debut in the fall Battlefield: Hardline . He said the title is very different to Battlefield 4 and demanded two years of work.
“New Multiplayer modes and maps, new vehicles, new animations, new voice / music, new progress, new mechanics, new models, new weapons …” and listed the developer continued. “There is also a new development team has been putting heart and soul into the game for more than 2 years.”
Visceral Games also was questioned about the graphics. Note that in our previous mention that, in fact, the game does not look exactly like the chart pinnacle of the new generation.
“We continue working on the game every day to improve everything, including graphics.” Papoutsis, who also revealed that there will be 64 players players to play in each map within the title said. “We will have 64 player maps. The size of the maps varies, we bigger than High Tension, and smaller. A good variety to keep things interesting.”
Battlefield: Hardline was revealed shortly before E3 and Beta took place a few weeks ago in PS4 and PC. It remains to another Beta before the premiere on October 24.
